Matt Perdew’s career path made him a natural for his role as Co-Founder & CEO of Wind Talker Innovations. He is a U.S. Air Force (USAF) veteran who served for 10 years, as both an E-3 AWACS Instructor/Evaluator and Senior Surveillance Technician, and as Surveillance Flight Operations Manager.
Matt continued service for eight years in the Air National Guard (ANG), as Director of Command and Control for Future Plans and Programs, where he was responsible for IT projects with a portfolio valued at over $650 million, governed by Military Standards and DoD regulations. He developed requirements for integrating emerging technologies and executing projects for NORAD BCSF future development. Matt also served as Air Battle Manager in Anchorage, Alaska, where he routinely controlled over $3.2 billion in USAF and ANG assets in a confined airspace, ensuring that Homeland Defense missions were safely executed.
Matt graduated Cum Laude from the esteemed Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Aerospace Sciences, while working full time. He has considerable experience leading teams in the areas of operations, logistics, design, quality assurance and finances. Matt is a certified Project Management Professional and Scrum Master who believes in giving back to the community, including volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in his spare time.
